Choreographer-to-the-stars Nick Felix presents the ins-and-outs of the waltz in this straightforward, no-frills tape. With his wife as partner, and assisted by a couple in wedding garb, Felix shows us the waltz step, box step, turn, underarm, side run-around, underarm with a walk-around, and traveling waltz step. Despite a few production missteps (Felix has trouble finding the correct camera at times; he does not actually explain where one's arms go; the "wedding" angle is detrimental in that the bride's traditional gown makes it impossible to see her feet; we hear the same music over and over), I believe that people could actually learn to waltz using this tape. Recommended for libraries lacking similar fare. Aud: P. (K. Glaser)
