And the sacrilege continues! Hosted by alumni Coral (Back to New York) and Dan (Miami), this program--featuring explicit language and salacious footage--compiles wild clips from the 13 seasons to date of MTV's original reality show. Covering roommate crushes (mutual and unreturned), forbidden romances (with crew members even!), love triangles, cheating, make-out sessions, and successful relationships (few and far between), this hour-long program is peppered with embarrassing, steamy, and hilarious moments familiar to Real World aficionados. Outstanding examples include the Tami and David blanket-grabbing fiasco in L.A. (1993), Mike's mistaken appreciation of a drag queen and the nail-in-a-pig's-heart present for Neil (London, 1995), Rachel and Puck's wretched San Francisco affair (1994), and the numerous exploits of 2002's raucous and raunchy Las Vegas gang (who I dubbed “chain-smoking, backbiting, oversexed, irresponsible rogues” in VL Online-7/03). In addition to the wisecracking hosts (Dan and Coral are cheerfully malicious as they clown on everything, including Montana's [Boston, 1997] sweater choice), the program also includes appearances and advice from former cast members Amaya and Teck (Hawaii), Melissa and Danny (New Orleans), and Frank, Alton, and Irulan (Las Vegas). Overall, this hook-up compilation serves up juicy memorabilia for RW fans and a scandalous appetizer for newcomers. DVD extras include host bloopers, guest outtakes, and a “Vegas Threesome” segment.
