Halyna Testerman is a writer who is passionate about films and enjoys reviewing documentaries on a wide range of topics about Eastern Europe: from Joseph Brodsky's poetry to the history of the Soviet Union. Originally from Ukraine, she has earned her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University (Georgia) and received her undergraduate degree in Public Communication from Kean University (New Jersey).
