Lara McKusky is a writer, editor, designer and artist with six years of library experience. She has a dual bachelor’s degree in elementary education and liberal studies with years of experience teaching across all ages. Her library experience includes working in a college library, a public high school library, and a small rural public library.
Lara is a voracious consumer of books, TV, and movies. She is a content writer, blogger, ghostwriter, and reviewer. Her personal blog had her tongue in cheek post “How ‘The Little Engine That Could’ Perpetuates Gender Stereotypes" post picked up by NPR’s "All Things Considered” and welcomed a guest post by the co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Mark Victor Hansen.
Nowadays, Lara can be found on her website (see link below) where two new blogs live: “Here’s the Thing…” and “The Dark Sisters Blog.”
