Ruth Kapp Hartz's (Your Name is Renee Institute founder) goal is to teach the history and the events of the Holocaust, the unprecedented genocide of the twentieth century during World War II, through her personalized story so that present and future generations will remember its lessons and make connections to contemporary issues of concern.
Her nationally recognized program includes:
- Her story as told in her published memoir "Your Name Is Renee" of experiences as a hidden child in Nazi occupied France.
- Developmentally appropriate and effective teaching materials.
- Numerous lectures throughout the United States.
- Course materials used by both public and private school systems for use at all grade levels of instruction including institutions of higher learning. She welcomes your interest in her services and resource materials.
She believes that together, we can work to educate youth about the Holocaust so they understand that its messages are universal in scope and transcend all lines of race, religion or ethnic background.
