While cleaning a space ship, an alien crew of silly janitors accidentally launch themselves into outer space and into our solar system (think Gilligan's Island meets Lost in Space) in this thoroughly entertaining and educationally fertile series from National Geographic Kids Video. Shark-A-Thon finds the live-action reptilian-looking crew investigating sharks using just the right balance of computer graphics, humor, amazing film footage, and a cute little know-it-all computer named Orb who explains the habits and lifestyles of these incredible sea creatures. Highly recommended. Also available in the series is Lava Blast: Alien Adventures in a Volcano. Aud: I, P. (N. Plympton)
