Bear's Big Lake: It's A Dog's Life

An odd entry that follows a large dog who gets lost during a camping trip. Talking with animals along the way (picture Babe, the Gallant Pig without the mouth and voice matching up), Bear meets Faith, a talking fish, and Paul, a praying mantis, who impart quasi-religious advice to the lost dog. Ultimately, the uneven writing and uncertain purpose of this often innovatively filmed program make it a strictly optional purchase. (R. Pitman)
