Candy And Cupcake Dreamland Adventures #1: Farm That Needs Fixin'

Candy Draksler and her little hand puppet friends sing a number of Casio based farm songs in front of one or two painted backdrops for 27 minutes in this well intentioned video which probably would have been a dynamite birthday show at your local community center, but doesn't really belong on shelves with other high quality dynamic kidvids. My watershed criteria for videos like this is how many times can they be played over and over by my kids before I start to wish we were Amish farmers. In this case, by the time Candy and her hand puppets had launched into "It's wonderful to be with you" on the little tinkly keyboard for the umpteenth time, I had already raised a barn by hand in our backyard. Strictly for the undemanding, this is not a necessary purchase. (R. Ray)
