Siblings--and if you have one I'm sure you'll agree with me on this--are pretty unique in the animal kingdom in one particular area: they tend to be wrong about 100% of the time. I know this from personal experience. So when I watched critically acclaimed children's recording artists Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer singing the title cut ("Is Not, Is Too!") on this delightful half-hour concert featuring eight memorable tunes, I thought about my sister, Dawn "Is Not" Bray, and was glad that at least one of the singers agreed with me that it "is too!" In addition to this great ditty (which should rightfully be played over the opening credits if anyone ever makes a film of Robert Bly's The Sibling Society), the gifted musicians play a fun, interactive clapping song; the lovely traditional "Kye, Kye, Kule;" and a rocking version of "Air Guitar" (in which they were joined by a jazzed audience wielding same). Enjoyable music, clever repartee and a warm, friendly atmosphere make Is Not, Is Too! a wonderful choice. And my sister will be delighted to find out there's a song about her (unless, of course, she "is not"). Also available from the duo: Yodel-Ay-Hee-Hoo!!! Highly recommended. Aud: K, E, P. (R. Pitman)
