Recently awarded a Red Ribbon at the American Film & Video Festival, this humorous short tells the story of a young boy named Billy whose imagination gets carried away one dark and stormy night. With no light (and mislaid glasses), Billy's chest of drawers begins to resemble, well, a chicken thing. Director Todd Holland has fleshed out his tale with numerous nods to great horror films of the past (including Halloween, Psycho, and Godzilla). Few shorts are priced for smaller or medium-sized libraries; this one is an exception, and it is highly recommended. (Available from: Direct Cinema Ltd., P.O. Box 69799, Los Angeles, CA 90069).
