California singer/songwriters' Greg Scelsa and Steve Milang, last seen in the wonderful Greg & Steve Live in Concert! (reviewed in our May 1992 issue), return with this compilation of music videos that, while fun, never quite matches the energy and audience participation level of their earlier effort. The video's highlight is the opening song: "Three Little Pigs Blues," in which the singers don Blues Brothers-like attire and belt out the classic porcine tale about doing a job right, while clips of the old Disney cartoon play in the background. Unfortunately, the high expectations set by the opener are not met by the remaining music videos, which seem to decrease in imaginative capacity as the program goes on. Other songs include "Dancin' Machine," "This Old Man," "Bingo," "Down by the Bay," "Ain't Gonna Rain," and "We Got the Whole World." The tape concludes with a nice environmental message. Not top-drawer Greg & Steve, Musical Adventures is still fun for ages 3-7. Recommended. (R. Pitman)
