Little Red Riding Hood

In this charming modernized version of the classic children's tale, Little Red Riding Hood sets off on her mountain bike to bring goodies to her ailing Grandma, who's phoned to say she has a cold. Although her mom warns her not to stop along the way, our heroine cannot resist picking flowers and quickly encounters the well-known villain of the piece, the Big Bad Wolf. Using a picture-book-on-tape approach that combines voice-over narration with imaginative illustrations, the purpose of this language arts tape, intended for pre-K through first grade audiences, is to introduce elementary ideas and vocabulary words through an entertaining updated approach to a classic fairy tale.
