Using a framing device that finds young April and Jody visiting Washington, D.C. and needing to navigate the city, Maps & Globes, one of the three titles in the Map Skills for Children series, combines on-location footage, plenty of fun graphics, and vocabulary words to illustrate the principles of cartography.
