Digger and Splat, a pair of puppets from the "monster" and "rabbit" species, respectively, decide to play an old-fashioned board game called "Seasons." Becoming bored very quickly, they hop inside the "magic toybox," which apparently serves as a time travel machine as well as a storage facility. Digger and his toy rabbit Splat travel through spring, summer, fall, and winter, tracking the progress of a mother robin and her brood, and learning facts from a robot appropriately named "Robofact." While some seasons seem to get more attention than others (winter is a little skimpy, compared to the treatment of spring), Seasons is recommended for larger pre-school and elementary collections.
