Pumpkin Circle

Nothing could be finer than a day in Caroliner growing puuumpkins! Pumpkins grow just about anywhere--even in your backyard--as this delightful tiptoe through the seasons of a pumpkin patch demonstrates. Written and directed by George Levenson (creator of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes [VL-3/92]), Pumpkin Circle is narrated by actor Danny Glover, features winsome music by Windham Hill recording artist George Winston (The Snowman), and stars Levenson as the busy gardener who takes pumpkins from scratch to patch. Viewers will learn about the growth cycle of pumpkins (poetically described: "shiny, baby pumpkins begin their newborn life"), see pumpkins in a wide variety of shapes and sizes (including some huge suckers), and be thrilled by a wonderfully creative series of scary Halloween pumpkin faces.
