Aimed at children aged 4-7, this excellent compilation culled from the Children's Television Workshop Sesame Street series is designed to demonstrate to young children the principles of cooperation. Spread over two tapes, the program is divided into six sections: "Cooperation is Fun," "Let's Work Together," "Sharing," "Taking Turns," "You Help Me and I'll Help You," and "Solving Problems Together." Each section is made up of 4-5 segments featuring animation or the Sesame Street puppets and actors. In the opening segment, Grover tries to slip undetected past a group of Scary Monsters who, as it turns out, only want to play a little music. In another humorous skit, Ernie tries to figure out a solution to the problem of a woman wearing a tall hat in a theater. As usual, the production values are all excellent, and the quality of the tape transfer is sharp and colorful. A program guide which includes a synopsis of each segment and suggested related activities is included. Highly recommended for appropriate collections.
