The Land Before Time: More Sing Along Songs

Listening to such bland tunes as "Big Water" and "Bad Luck" culled from the direct-to-video 5th and 6th entries in The Land Before Time series, I felt (or at least hoped) I was hearing the death rattle of a truly milked-to-the-last-drop franchise. While the original tale chronicling the adventures of Littlefoot and his dino friends was a charmer, each succeeding episode has seemed increasingly formulaic and shopworn. Fortunately, the second half of this sing along picks up a bit with the anti-panic song "Get the Facts" and the clever villain anthem "Creature de la Nuit," taken from a handful of songs featured in the direct-to-video 3rd and 4th entries in the An American Tale series...but not nearly enough to recommend this otherwise lackluster compilation.
