Walk, Ride, Fly!

"Up in space...they eat spaghetti out of tubes," go the cute and gastronomically correct lyrics to "Space," one of 10 songs on this transportation-themed music video collection for kids. Combining new video and stock footage with tunes composed and sung by Emmy award-winning artists Mitran Mitran, the tape includes songs about "Wheels," "Cars," "Trucks," "Windsurfing," "Balloons," and the "Bus" (a cute doo-wop inspired number). There's even an ode to that exceptionally low-budget and environmentally-friendly mode of transportation called "Feet." The second video in the Picture This! Sing-A-Long series (see At the Zoo, VL-3/94), Walk, Ride, Fly! features sharp video, crisp audio, and catchy tunes which should capture the interest of kids aged 2-6. Recommended. (R. Pitman)
