While composing some theme music for a projected game show, Mark Devereaux (Randy Quaid) inadvertently beams out a welcome message to outer space. This results in one billion Martians landing on Earth, hell bent on telling bad jokes. You've all heard the saying that "a little Martian humor goes along way." Ivan Boesky, Vanna White, and Donald Trump jokes are tired to the point of coma. Forget the minimal plot; you'll be screaming right alongside Devereaux: "Martians, go home! And take the rest of the people responsible for this dorky film with you!" Not recommended. (R. Pitman)
