It's safe to say that very few people have seen this film. Andrew Stevens and Robert Carradine star as school gang-leader and school newcomer, respectively, at a highly organized California high school. What looks like just another stalk 'em and kill 'em flick quickly turns into an exceptionally perceptive film about tyranny. When Carradine refuses to take his proper place in the school's social hierarchy, the full measure of peer pressure is brought to bear on the rebel--until he strikes back. This sleeper showed up on critic's best lists nationwide, including Gene Siskel's, Roger Ebert's, and Vincent Canby's. (Available from Movies Unlimited, 6736 Castor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149).
