Born Wild

Brooke Shields is game, but merely window dressing. As with The Amazing Panda Adventure, it's the animals--in this case, two leopard cubs named Little Boy and Little Girl--who are the real stars. Shields plays a fledgling documentary filmmaker who joins forces with John Varty (as John Varty), an environmentalist determined to save the cubs from game wardens who want the leopards for a zoo. Not in Born Free's class, but those leopard cubs are scene stealers and the wildlife footage is stunning (as is Ms. Shields). (D. Liebenson)
