Excellent documentary chronicling the rise and fall (and rise) of the creative force behind the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, whose genius on the influential Pet Sounds album (which inspired the Beatles) led to friction between the band members when Wilson tried to go further out on an experimental limb with the eventually abandoned Smile album. Affordably priced, and sure to be popular, this is highly recommended. (R. Pitman)
