Eddie Albert and the Forever Young Dancers host this informative guide to healthy living in advanced age. Composed of 30 men and women, the Forever Young Dancers Group has taken their inspirational act to nursing homes across the country. This program interviews members of the group, as well as recognized medical professionals, to give both an expert and a personal side to the various diseases and conditions which the video addresses. Barbara McHenry has had seven operations for throat cancer, but she's a strong believer in the healing power of a positive attitude and an active lifestyle. Eileen Margolin had narrowed arteries, and had to make adjustments in her cholesterol level, resulting in a much healthier diet. Dee Overton has wonderful recall of the old days, but cannot remember current names and phone numbers. While some of these problems, such as Alzheimer's disease or osteoporosis are not presently curable, they can be treated and steps can be taken to prevent their occurrence. Combining real people with sound advice, viewers learn how to care for their hearts, their skin, their bones, and their minds. An inspirational and enlightening look at the body's coming of age-and what steps can be taken to make that transition from youth to advanced age more smooth. (Available from: Health Care Video, P.O.
