This utterly mystifying video is quite simply the most beautifully useless video I have ever seen. It consists of 55 minutes of random nature and wildlife footage set to upbeat elevator music. There is no narration, no explanation, no cohesive structure to the images (African animals are shown in the same sequences as Asian and American animals), no behavioral interest, no story whatsoever. I can't for the life of me figure out what it is or what possible use it could be to anyone, except maybe as video wallpaper at the World Wildlife Fund offices. It has a beautiful four color box and a long list of fancy Hollywood style credits, and some better than average wildlife footage, but...what were they thinking? Who were they marketing to? Game wardens on acid? Pets who watch TV? A long extended demo tape of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom outtakes set against K-LITE classics, this is not recommended. Aud: P. (R. Ray)
