Although primarily a compilation tape, this overview of some of the great routines of the past decade from world figure skating champions, is a beautiful program filled with grace, humor, and breathtaking skill. Featuring American, British, and Russian skaters, each performance is shown in competition with an announcer delivering the commentary. Renowned solo artists such as Dorothy Hamill, Scott Hamilton, and Robin Cousins (who displays a remarkable range, and does all of his own choreography) are mixed with great duets: the bold mini-playlets of Torvil and Dean, or the precise movements of Kitty and Peter Carruthers. Most people would enjoy this wonderful homage to great skaters. Recommended. (Available from: V.I.E.W. Video, 34 East 23 St. New York, NY 10010.)
