Noted baritone Peter Morrison lip-synchs through such classic Scottish tunes as "Scotland the Brave," "Loch Lomond," "The Bonnie Earl O'Moray" (who learns that hankering after the King's main squeeze can be a fatal attraction), "Will Ye No Come Back Again?" and the Robert Burns classic "My Love is Like a Red Red Rose." I confess that I was occasionally lost with some of the lyrics (what does "lassie, would you loo me?" mean? I understand "lassie," but I'm lost on "loo," unless it's a very loose pronunciation of "luv"). When not following Morrison walking the interior or grounds of Dalmeny House, the visuals take in the Highland sights, pop into pubs, and travel the streets of cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow. Although I personally find these kinds of music videos rather slow and dull, there are a whole bunch of people out there who think otherwise. Consider this a strong optional purchase for larger world music collections. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
