Dann Moss, whose earlier music video "portraits" included the superb Portrait of Africa and the so-so Portrait of England, lands one between those two efforts with this mostly engaging look at the Emerald Isle. The music is supplied by James Galway, Enya, and The Chieftains, but unfortunately it is not equally divided. People who love James Galway's flute will love this video, since most of the selections are by Galway. Much of the program is given over to the straightahead aerial flying shots of Ireland (usually to Galway's flute), but a couple of sections stand out nicely: a glimpse at workers in the fields accompanied by the haunting vocals of Enya, and a beautifully filmed montage of faces in Dublin's pubs with The Chieftains supplying the background music. All in all, a pleasant armchair tour. Recommended. (Available from most distributors.)
