Yale Strom's compelling portrait of Polish musician Leopold Koslowski (who plays "klezmer" or Jewish "soul music") interviews the man, examines his music, and embarks on a heartrending journey to the places where Koslowski lost family during WWII. A musical consultant for Schindler's List, Koslowski is an interesting man with some great stories (his father's advice to the young Leopold: "be well and eat hot beans; but don't fart too loudly"). Recommended. (R. Pitman)
