Quite simply, the latest "video album" from the folks at Miramar (creators of Canyon Dreams and Desert Vision) sets a new standard for music videos. Combining original music by Miramar recording artist James Reynolds with the works of over 300 computer animation artists, The Mind's Eye offers eight mind-boggling segments (composed of numerous animated clips). In "Creation," the viewer is transported through a universe of orbiting, colorful spheres, while in "Love Found," they see the beautiful story of a bird who broaches the barrier of water to be with the fish he loves. The best is saved for last: in a sequence called "The Temple," computer animated dancers, that appear to be part human, part animal, perform a meticulously detailed dance that is absolutely stunning. An outstanding program; highly recommended. Editor's Choice. (Available from most distributors.)
