While red-blooded Marxists will find little here that is truly unknown, this affectionate history of one of America's most beloved comedy teams does unearth one bona-fide treasure: long-thought lost footage of Harpo in a silent movie. The rest is a workmanlike account of the Marx Brothers' stage and screen career, with classic clips, rare promotion films, TV talk show appearances, audio recordings and interviews with family members. Narrator Leslie Nielsen plays it straight, allowing the Brothers' work to--except in the case of Harpo--speak for itself. Fans will take to this like duck soup. Recommended. Aud: C, P. (K. Lee Benson)
