This is the story of the A.T.G (Alaska Territorial Guard) during WWII. Both Yup'ik and Inupiaq men and women volunteered for duty, training to defend against the invading Japanese, and patrolling Alaskan outposts for the U.S. Army. The interviews with veterans are interesting and even amusing, and incredible archival film footage and photographs add to the visual richness. What is heartbreaking, however, is the unacceptable audio quality throughout, which makes this otherwise commendable program an unacceptable consideration for purchase. Aud: J, H, C, P. (R. Reagan)
