"Beam me up multiple copies, Scotty!" Trekkie fans will go ballistic over this handsomely produced documentary featuring Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and other cast regulars recalling the genesis, cult status, and eventual grounding of the Starship Enterprise. Viewers will learn that Chekov's look was modeled after The Monkees' Davy Jones (I always thought Chekov was Davy Jones), the origin of the Vulcan hand salute and tons more, plus be treated to scads of clips from the long-running series. Highly recommended. Editor's Choice. And if all that doesn't set your phaser to stun, then check this: four new episodes (technically, numbers 75-78, and Trekkie fans will know exactly which shows these are) of Star Trek: The Next Generation will also be released on Feb. 6 at $14.95 each. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
