Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls

Pet detective Ace Ventura is unleashed in Africa to find a rare, prized bat. Rich and richer Jim Carrey's immense popularity, the sell-through price and the PG-13 rating would seem to make purchase compulsory. But (and there's always a butt when discussing Jim Carrey), be forewarned: despite some clever bits (a takeoff on Stallone's Cliffhanger), whatever joy, surprise or even charm the original might have had has already been trashed in this relentless sequel that turns the obnoxious factor up to 11.
