The queens of Q-factor, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, star as lookalikes who meet at a summer camp. One is a poor little rich girl whose father (Steve Guttenberg, and whose idea was it to give this guy a comeback?) is about to marry a child-hating witch. The other is a streetwise orphan who conspires to hook Daddy up with her guardian, a "hopeless romantic" (Kirstie Alley, looking absolutely miserable). Not recommended, but the low purchase price and the popularity of the Olsen "tyke-oons" probably make any critical misgivings (and they are considerable) moot. (K. Benson)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
