M*A*S*H creator Larry Gelbart offers up a delicious satire in this mock-Senate hearing over an illegal arms sale scam televised on TNN (Total News Network). A little too long, but a verbal tour de force nevertheless, as each witness testifies in evasive doublespeak that would have impressed Lewis Carroll with its labyrinthine qualities. (R. Pitman)
