Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson have an undeniable chemistry, but they are derailed by this high concept star vehicle in which they portray New York undercover subway cops who happen to be foster brothers. Their sibling rivalry is exacerbated by their beautiful new partner (Jennifer Lopez) as well as inveterate gambler Woody's plan to rob the revenue collection train. Loose cannon Robert Blake returns to the screen as their hated boss. For a more thoughtful treatment of interracial brothers, see Robert Duvall and James Earl Jones in A Family Thing. Not a necessary purchase. (K. Benson)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
