All talk and no play makes this update on the Frankenstein story a very dull boy indeed. Written and directed by Pulp Fiction co-writer Roger Aviary (best remembered as the young man who had difficulty holding his water on Oscar night), Mr. Stitch stars Wil Wheaton as the new Frankie and Rutger Hauer as the mad scientist. Filmed primarily on a single set, action and horror fans will be disappointed; but Philosophy 101 students might be able to sit through this one. Not a necessary purchase. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
