Actually, this is an inspired idea. It's the brain-dead script and loathsome characters (not to mention the appearance of grade-Z actors such as Tommy Chong) that make this a bad Trip. For everyone who thinks the F-word, corpulence and drug use are wildly funny. (D. Liebenson)[DVD Review--June 1, 2004--New Line, 91 min., R, $19.98--Making its debut on DVD, Kelly Makin's 1995 Senior Trip (a.k.a. National Lampoon's Senior Trip) boasts an impressive transfer and a surprisingly robust array of audio choices--DTS, Dolby Digital 5.1 and surround tracks--but no extras. Bottom line: unfortunately, the movie still blows chunks.]
