Billed as a "pregnancy avoidance dramatic music video for teens and preteens," the first half of this program shows a pair of teens in a car swapping meaningful looks (he: I want your body; she: I don't think so) before raging hormones overcome common sense. The scene skips from the boy playing with the girl's jeans zipper to the car suddenly riding a rollercoaster while the girl's stomach expands. Throughout, the lyrics (or lyric) goes: "one thing always leads to another." The second half looks at the teen mother's fantasy of having everything she wants plus a happy, contented baby contrasted with the reality of being house-bound with a screaming infant. As a music video, this is not headed for the MTV buzz bin anytime soon. As a pregnancy deterrence program, I'm not convinced that there's enough detail here to truly make teens think twice before giving in to hormonal impulses. An optional purchase. Aud: J, H, P. (R. Pitman)
