This monologue is a powerful communication tool for opening a dialogue between parents and teenagers, teachers and students, and possibly even counselors and therapists. It's a humorous, self-absorbed rant about the generation gap, political correctness, middle class neuroses and teenage angst. As he waits in his basement for his dad to come home and "kill him" for borrowing and scratching his father's blue Jaguar, a young man unleashes a torrent of words. He disses his parents for their pc attitudes over the environment, etc. But he's also got an ulcer, is seeing a therapist, and won't talk in school. He's scared and after verbally purging himself realizes his father is scared too. But they can't talk about it yet. Maybe they will after watching this video. Recommended for larger school and public libraries with healthy budgets. Aud: J, H, P. (C. Dratch-Kovler)
