What were Matthew McConaughey (Contact) and Renee Zellweger (Jerry Maguire) up to before stardom struck? This 1994 dog third sequel to Tobe Hooper's low-budget cult favorite, that's what. For those who have a hankering to see Zellweger run through the woods with a chainsaw-wielding grunter from Central Casting hot on her tail, or want to see McConaughey trying his hand at redneck evil, well, I don't want to wax alarmish here, but this is probably going to be your only chance. Anyone else (i.e, the rest of you poor folk with functioning brains), can do what Renee and Matt would do doubt prefer: go temporarily Luddite (no chainsaws or VCRs). Not recommended. (R. Pitman)

This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
