Fitness trainers Scott Herman and Susan Becraft lead brisk, sweaty sessions of cardio workouts in this energized program, which gives viewers a choice of exercise routines: “Legs, Thighs and Butt,” “Total-Body Weight Loss” and “Fat-Burning and Abs.” Each routine runs 20 minutes, and viewers can opt to exercise to music or while listening either to Herman or Becraft giving verbal directions. All routines begin with warm-up moves (jumping jacks, etc.) before shifting to such tailored maneuvers as “front squats with weights,” “curtsying lunges,” “burpees” and “Heismans.” Some of Herman and Becraft's confederates in these workouts—fit-looking young adults—have a little more trouble than others keeping up with the challenges, which is at least a little bit encouraging for the rest of us. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
