Wildlife enthusiast Roy Neher has combined video footage of a wide variety of birds and an audio soundtrack of running water together in order to create a relaxation video. Unfortunately, the area is so flooded that anything less than top-notch videography won't do, and Birdshow's buntings, hawks, wrens, cardinals, warblers, and herons are, for the most part, filmed in single angle fashion, and occasionally obscured by foliage. Focus changes, repetitive footage, and a dearth of variations in setting make this a very so-so relaxation video, while the nature component (the name of each bird is shown onscreen) is too abbreviated to be of use to students of ornithology. In short, far better programs exist in either area. Not recommended. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
