Why special-interest producers insist on blowing a lot of cash in the online editing suite for less than breathtaking special effects, when they haven't even shot a broadcast quality program is a constant mystery to me. Both of these programs are run of the mill productions aimed at high school students. Checkings and Savings features the standard coterie of bad "real life" actors and actresses to introduce students to the world of banking: opening and maintaining both a savings and a checking account. Find the Job World is a routine outline of the steps involved in finding a job: deciding what you want to do, researching the many avenues of information (amazingly, this program neglects to mention the public library as a source for job info), creating a resume, preparing for an interview, and the follow-up. Any student with an ounce of individuality in his or her soul will take the opportunity to cut major z's when these programs are being shown. Not recommended. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
