Remember that old steamer trunk you donated to Sally's last year because it was starting to hold more household insects than memories? Well, with Charlotte Ford's Country Trunk Restoration, you could have turned that hummer into a pretty fancy piece of furniture to hold your keepsakes (old lottery tickets, beer caps, outdated TV Guides, the like). After a brief introduction about the various types of trunks (metal, leather, wardrobe, steamer, etc.), the program outlines the necessary tools and supplies for a complete overhaul, rolls up its sleeves, and commences to cleaning, repairing, replacing, and refinishing. There are a couple of plugs for the producer's line of replacement parts (which should have been placed at the end of the tape), but otherwise this is a good program which will certainly inspire attic cleaners to think twice before dumping a potential family heirloom. Recommended. (R. Pitman)
