How To Reduce Your Property Tax

Basically, this program is the condensed video version of the author's book by the same title (Genesis Press, Inc.). Adler presents a video seminar using practical illustrations, charts and graphs to thoroughly explain the world of property taxes and the appeals process. He details just what property taxes are and the different ways they can be calculated (comparable, cost-replacement, or equity analysis) as well as methods to reduce them and step-by-step procedures through the appeals process. He also discusses how to read the property tax bill, and how to research information about your property. Overall, the program offers some exceptional advise, and well-edited dissolves make the visuals flow together nicely. Larger, on-screen graphics (instead of poster close-ups) would have enhanced the instruction, and on this reviewer's copy, the color is slightly washed out and there was a low sound balance problem at intervals. Still, this is recommended where Adler's book is popular. (J. Scholtz)
