Socially conscious Jerry Williams, the president of the Biotope Study Society in Long Island, New York, has set up a special greenhouse in his own backyard that recreates a natural environment for an assortment of plants and animals. While Williams encourages viewers to do the same, the program is not the best production-wise and the show-and-tell ("here's a...and here's a...") doesn't really serve as an introduction to the subject; it's just a neat idea. An optional purchase. Aud: E, I, J, P. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
