Kids looking for fun on a rainy day could do much worse than this nifty guide to maskmaking with colored construction paper taught by Peggy Flores. Viewers will learn how to create the basic face shape, and add eyes (with double eyelids, no less), mouth, nose, and curly hair (preferably in two colors). Flores is an excellent instructor and the video and audio qualities are clear and crisp. And the finished masks? Like our kids might say of us: "even though the features are exaggerated, they still have a human quality." a fine choice. Highly recommended. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
