A filling (ouch!), educational video, this tape is also as boring as muzak in the dentist's office. The muddy audio and static direction really detract from some very good information, and the unimaginative treatment of the subject leads me to think...a book, a pamphlet, anything other than this endless talking heads session. Which is too bad, since everything you could possibly want to know is covered here: teething, brushing, fluoride, mouthwash, antibiotics, vitamins, pacifiers, injuries, and tooth decay all get a thorough treatment. Chapter stops would have helped, and more visuals (how about taking us through the examination with a recalcitrant child?) would have brought it alive. Ok for a pediatric dentist's office, if a parent REALLY wants to know. Otherwise, not recommended. (E. Druda)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
