This low-budget guide to making a video inventory is primarily a talking-head lecture which tells viewers how to make a video record of their valuables. The emphasis is on jewels and coins, and the program does show viewers how to make simple props for displaying their valuables, and offers a handful of visual examples. But the segment on setting up your camcorder is all lecture, and the actual videotaping section is just somebody walking through a house with a camcorder. a far better production is Video Home Inventory Guide (VL-9/92). Not recommended. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
